seemed like a pretty rowdy bar full of local regulars that don't care much for fresh meat invading their space. So if you enjoy having a bar fight once in awhile this is the place to do it. The night I was there they had a parade in town and some club from the cities was there called the vulcans and they were all these old men dressed up with titles and for some reason the local ladies were acting as if bret michaels rolled into town to cast some new gals for rock of love. There was a small altercation and some words thrown back and forth --The guys in our group decided it was time to hustle their ladies out of here and we retreated to a calmer more lazy drinking environment. You probably won't dig this place unless you live in Lake City..

I love this place. It is an old bank converted to a bar and grill. Real convenient to boating and biking in Lake City. This is a hamburger/fries/onion rings kinda place. Super nice people working and the clientele is friendly, laid back and capable of pretty interesting conversations about living on Lake Pepin. Check out the woodwork and the old bank vault. Think you'll like this place

If your looking for a great burger and ice cold drink, This is a great place to try! Everyone is friendly and the service is great. Located close to the Mississippi which makes it convenient if your boating.

On a trip from Los Angeles. Happened to stop in here. Used to be an old bank, and the old vault holds the cigarettes. It's pretty divey and filled with locals, but close to the Mississippi and a good time. Its friendly enough. No bar fights to be had. In fact, the only fight I overheard was between two women debating the hours of the local pharmacy.

Stopped in after golfing at Frontenac tonight, was planning on eating here (glad we didn't) menu very unimpressive and made me feel like every thing on it was frozen. So we ordered a drink since we were there, dirt cheap drink prices but that didn't make up for a man screaming "Shut the fuck up!" to his 8 year old son (why was there children in a bar after 8 pm is my first question) and the bartender chuckled about it. The man continued to scream at his poor child who was balling his eyes out at this point, bartender still not doing a damn thing about it. We slammed our drinks and got out of here ASAP! I will say that the bartender was very friendly and easy to talk to, and seeing the old bank safe and what not was cool, but not enough to bring me back ever again.
